Let You Go

'Let You Go' was the first song I wrote after returning to Berlin. I was very happy to return to my keyboard and my guitar, which I have been missing in London. 'Let You Go' is the first song that I have recorded guitars for.

I would describe this song as empowering and delicate. Both melodically and sonically, this song merges two different feelings into one.

One of the people I showed this song to said that it doesn’t fight for your attention. And I’m glad it doesn’t, because if you’re in the right mood, place or time for this song, it will automatically grab your attention. :)I Hope you enjoy

Lyrics

[Intro]
Let you go, let you go
Let you go, let you go now
Let you go, let you go
Let you go, let you go now

[Verse]
I could wait a thousand days
You’d never wait for me
You’d never wait for me
Even when I ran away
You’re all that I could see
You’re all that I could see

[Pre Chorus]
When I could hardly walk on my own
I had to lift myself out of the trench below
Haven’t I suffered enough to let you go
Let you go, let you go now

[Chorus]
Let you go, let you go
Let you go, let you go now
Let you go, let you go
Let you go, let you go now

[Verse]
When I could hardly walk on my own
I had to lift myself out of the trench below
Haven’t I suffered enough to let you go
Let you go, let you go now

[Pre Chorus]
You loved me right for a minute
Even tough I tried so hard to forget it
All you do is pave the way
So I could reinvent myself
Reinvent myself

[Chorus]
Let you go, let you go
Let you go, let you go now
Let you go, let you go
Let you go, let you go now

[Bridge]
Let you go, let you go now
Let you go, let you go now

[Outro]
Let you go, let you go
Let you go, let you go now
Let you go, let you go
Let you go, let you go now
